Northbridge Youth Lacrosse has been working hard to get a new vendor for our 2024 uniforms and we are happy to announce our partnership with Promo Athletics. Promo Athletics was started by two friends from Boston when they were students at UMASS Amherst. The company has grown and now own the factory to produce their own products. In the past Northbridge Youth Lacrosse has worked with retailers that outsourced the design and production to a third party, this is our first attempt at going directly to the source. Promo has been very helpful in the design phase, taking the traditional design and adding some modern elements to create a great new design. This season we took the color scheme we have come to love and added some new twists. The first thing you will see is a tribute to the Boston Red Sox, our away jersey side will continue to say Northbridge, but our home side now says RAMS. The next thing you will see is that we added numbers to the shorts, it was design feature we saw on other uniforms and we think it really adds something to the design. The next thing you will notice is we are adding player names to the uniforms for the first time. Promo made this option free to the design phase, where in the past it would have cost extra. The package we got from them included a shooter/undershirt as part of the package. We told the design team at Promo to, ‘go nuts and surprise us,’ and they certainly did with that design. Promo will be sending us a sizing kit to make sure everyone gets the right size, they offer quick turnaround on the order and replacement of damaged uniforms(most damaged uniforms can be turned around in less than two weeks). We are very excited about this partnership and can’t wait for the Spring!
